A look back at one of our favorite events from the Waste Management Phoenix Open – Operation Shower at the Birdies for the Brave Patriots Outpost. Last February, 30 military moms-to-be from Luke Air Force Base, Fort Huachuca and the Arizona National Guard were honored during an Operation Shower/Birdies for the Brave group baby shower during tournament week.

What a great weekend with Special Olympics Arizona and the Arizona Special Olympics State Games. The Thunderbirds are a proud supporter of this great organization and want to congratulate all of the athletes who competed in the 2018 Games! Ben Silverman Wins Desert Ford Dealers Drive for your Ride Contest

First-year PGA TOUR professional Ben Silverman is riding around in a brand new Ford Expedition after winning the Ford Drive for your Ride contest at the 16th hole during the 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open. Silverman’s first and second round shots at the iconic par-3 measured a total of 15’ 8” from the cup, good enough to win a new ride for himself and the 100 Club of Arizona.

Fowler Takes Outright Lead at Record-Breaking Third Round

The third round of the 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open exceeded ambitious attendance expectations, drawing 216,818 fans to TPC Scottsdale – a new single-day touranment record. The attendance mark bested the previous year’s Saturday attendance by nearly 12,000 and is the third-straight year third-round attendance surpassed 200,000 fans, as well as the third straight year the Saturday attendance record was broken.
