The trio represents the third group of celebrity participants confirmed for the Annexus Pro-Am, one of tournament week’s most anticipated events, which pairs PGA TOUR professionals with elite athletes and entertainers in a competitive and fan-favorite showcase.

A Scottsdale resident and regular participant in the Annexus Pro-Am, Phelps is widely regarded as the most decorated Olympic athlete of all time. One of country music’s fastest-rising stars, Top was recently named CMA New Artist of the Year and has been recognized by Rolling Stone as one of its “Hottest Acts Right Now.” He achieved his first No. 1 at country radio with “I Never Lie” and released his highly anticipated album, Ain’t In It For My Health, in 2025. NEWS
INFO

Continuing its commitment to delivering a world-class and inclusive fan experience, the WM Phoenix Open will debut a new Family Center at the 2026 tournament, providing a dedicated, family-friendly space designed to enhance the general admission experience for parents attending with children.

Located near the Lifebird Grill at the south end of the driving range (near the 11th tee), the 40’x40’, temperature-controlled structure will serve as a centralized hub for families looking to recharge without stepping away from the action.  The Family Center will be open Monday – Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Family Center will feature a staffed welcome reception in collaboration with Mayo Clinic and Phoenix Children’s, offering parents access to breastfeeding stations for new moms, changing stations, and a comfortable environment tailored specifically to families with young children. A kids activation area will help keep little ones engaged, while TVs with live golf coverage ensure parents never miss a moment of tournament play.

“When you have kids with you, having a place to slow down for a few minutes makes a big difference,” said 2026 WM Phoenix Open Tournament Chairman Jason Eisenberg. “The Family Center gives families a comfortable space to take a break, take care of the basics, and then get right back to enjoying everything that makes the WM Phoenix Open special.”

Additional amenities include on-site restrooms, complimentary water, comfortable seating, and kid-friendly design and décor — all designed to make a day at the WM Phoenix Open more accessible and enjoyable for families. Medical care and child care are not provided; parents must stay with their children at all times.  Additionally, the Family Center will also be a designated hub for lost and found children.

“Mayo Clinic is proud to work alongside organizations across Arizona to support initiatives that strengthen our community,” said Kristina Butler, M.D., Mayo Clinic Community Engagement Chair. “The Family Center reflects how collaboration can create thoughtful, family-friendly spaces that enhance the overall experience at the WM Phoenix Open,”

The introduction of the Family Center reinforces the WM Phoenix Open’s long-standing reputation for innovation and fan-first enhancements. By offering a space specifically designed for parents and children, the tournament continues to evolve while maintaining the energy and atmosphere that define “The People’s Open.”

“At Phoenix Children’s, everything we do is guided by a deep commitment to caring for kids in our community. The Family Center reflects our belief that thoughtfully designed, welcoming spaces matter, especially for parents and children who need a moment to rest and reset,” said John R. Nickens IV, President and Chief Executive Officer, Phoenix Children’s. “We’re grateful to Mayo Clinic and the Thunderbirds for their partnership and shared commitment to families.”

January 26, 2026 by WM Phoenix Open

WM PHOENIX OPEN
NEWS
INFO

Morgan Sexton’s WM Phoenix Open volunteer journey reflects the heart of The People’s Open — community, flexibility, and fun. Now in her 12th year volunteering, Morgan has been a consistent presence on the concessions team, helping support one of the tournament’s most impactful areas while contributing directly to its charitable mission.

Having witnessed the tournament’s growth firsthand, Morgan values the energy, variety, and sense of purpose that come with volunteering. Whether it’s seeing new venues take shape, experiencing the excitement of tournament week, or reconnecting with fellow volunteers each year, she continues to return for the friendships, community impact, and unique experience that make the WM Phoenix Open unlike any other event.

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: MORGAN SEXTON

Where are you from and where do you currently live?
I grew up in Kentucky, lived in Phoenix for 10 years, and currently reside back in Kentucky, while still traveling to Arizona throughout the year to volunteer.

How many years have you volunteered for the WM Phoenix Open?
This will be my 12th year volunteering.

Have you volunteered in the same role or different capacities?
I’ve always volunteered with the concessions team in various capacities.

What is your favorite memory as a volunteer at the WM Phoenix Open?
Walking the course each year and seeing how the tournament has grown — from new venues to expanded layouts — while knowing that growth helps raise more funds for local charities.

Why should people volunteer at the WM Phoenix Open?
It’s fun, the weather is great, and it’s not your typical golf tournament. There’s truly something for everyone.

What makes the WM Phoenix Open different from other volunteer opportunities?
You have the freedom to tailor your experience, whether you prefer a slower pace early in the week or the energy of large crowds later on.

Have you met PGA TOUR pros or celebrities from your time as a volunteer?
No celebrities, but I once got to touch the tournament trophy in the volunteer tent — which feels close enough!

What keeps you coming back to volunteer?
The people. Even if we only see each other one week a year, the friendships make it special.

What is the best part about volunteering at the WM Phoenix Open?
The community impact. Concessions generate significant funding for local charities, and the tournament’s economic impact is unmatched.

Wildest moment as a volunteer at the tournament?
Being on a hole when a hole-in-one happens — pure chance, but unforgettable.

Has volunteering led to lifelong friendships?
Yes. I’ve built strong friendships that extend well beyond tournament week.
