WM PHOENIX OPEN NEWS INFO
Continuing its commitment to delivering a world-class and inclusive fan experience, the WM Phoenix Open will debut a new Family Center at the 2026 tournament, providing a dedicated, family-friendly space designed to enhance the general admission experience for parents attending with children.
Located near the Lifebird Grill at the south end of the driving range (near the 11th tee), the 40’x40’, temperature-controlled structure will serve as a centralized hub for families looking to recharge without stepping away from the action. The Family Center will be open Monday – Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WM PHOENIX OPEN INTRODUCES NEW FAMILY
CENTER FOR 2026 TOURNAMENT
The Family Center will feature a staffed welcome reception in collaboration with Mayo Clinic and Phoenix Children’s, offering parents access to breastfeeding stations for new moms, changing stations, and a comfortable environment tailored specifically to families with young children. A kids activation area will help keep little ones engaged, while TVs with live golf coverage ensure parents never miss a moment of tournament play.
“When you have kids with you, having a place to slow down for a few minutes makes a big difference,” said 2026 WM Phoenix Open Tournament Chairman Jason Eisenberg. “The Family Center gives families a comfortable space to take a break, take care of the basics, and then get right back to enjoying everything that makes the WM Phoenix Open special.”
Additional amenities include on-site restrooms, complimentary water, comfortable seating, and kid-friendly design and décor — all designed to make a day at the WM Phoenix Open more accessible and enjoyable for families. Medical care and child care are not provided; parents must stay with their children at all times. Additionally, the Family Center will also be a designated hub for lost and found children.
“Mayo Clinic is proud to work alongside organizations across Arizona to support initiatives that strengthen our community,” said Kristina Butler, M.D., Mayo Clinic Community Engagement Chair. “The Family Center reflects how collaboration can create thoughtful, family-friendly spaces that enhance the overall experience at the WM Phoenix Open,”
The introduction of the Family Center reinforces the WM Phoenix Open’s long-standing reputation for innovation and fan-first enhancements. By offering a space specifically designed for parents and children, the tournament continues to evolve while maintaining the energy and atmosphere that define “The People’s Open.”
“At Phoenix Children’s, everything we do is guided by a deep commitment to caring for kids in our community. The Family Center reflects our belief that thoughtfully designed, welcoming spaces matter, especially for parents and children who need a moment to rest and reset,” said John R. Nickens IV, President and Chief Executive Officer, Phoenix Children’s. “We’re grateful to Mayo Clinic and the Thunderbirds for their partnership and shared commitment to families.”
