Waste Management Phoenix Open Once Again to Offer Free Admission Monday and Tuesday as Part Of “Ford Free Days”

FREE ADMISSION OFFER IS GOOD ON MONDAY, JAN. 29 AND TUESDAY, JAN. 30

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Thanks to Ford, the official vehicle of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, all fans will be admitted FREE of charge on Monday, Jan. 29 and Tuesday, Jan. 30 to the Waste Management Phoenix Open as part of “Ford Free Days” courtesy of Arizona Ford Dealers. This marks the third consecutive year the tournament and Ford have teamed up to offer free admission to all fans.

Monday’s schedule includes practice rounds by PGA TOUR players and the Kadima.Ventures Pro-Am, while Tuesday will include practice rounds, the R.S. Hoyt Jr. Family Foundation Dream Day and the popular San Tan Ford Special Olympics Open.

“Ford has been such a great partner and we are happy once again to be able to offer free admission on Monday and Tuesday during tournament week,” said Tournament Chairman Carlos Sugich.

Additionally, beginning Wednesday, Jan. 17, anyone who takes a test drive at any participating Phoenix metro Ford Dealer will receive one free general admission ticket good any one day to the Waste Management Phoenix Open Wednesday – Sunday of tournament week.

“The Arizona Ford Dealers are delighted to continue their partnership with the Waste Management Phoenix Open this year where once again the ‘Greatest Show on Grass’ will be supported by the greatest vehicles on earth,” said Tim Hovik Chairman of the Arizona Ford Dealers. “We are also particularly pleased to announce the continuation of the Third Annual Ford Free Days, and we hope that Valley residents take full advantage of the free admission to the tournament on Monday and Tuesday.”

As the official vehicle of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Arizona Ford dealers will be providing more than 150 courtesy vehicles during tournament week to transport PGA TOUR players, tournament officials and Waste Management Phoenix Open staff. Those vehicles, primarily 2018 F-150, 2018 Explorers, and 2018 Expeditions will go up for sale at the Phoenix metro Ford Dealerships following the tournament.

The 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open will be held at TPC Scottsdale January 29 – February 4, 2018. “The People’s Open” is the best-attended golf tournament in the world and has gained legendary status for being the most unique stop on the PGA TOUR.  The 2018 edition will mark the 83rd playing of the event (one of the five oldest events on the PGA TOUR) and the ninth as the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

The Thunderbirds were founded in 1937 with the mission of promoting the Valley of the Sun through sports.
