The Thunderbirds, hosts of the WM Phoenix Open, announced today multi-platinum country artist Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line has been added to the lineup for the 2026 edition of the Concert in the Coliseum Presented by Swire Coca-Cola, which is set to kick off tournament week two days early on Saturday, Jan. 31.  Tyler will get things started at the iconic 16th hole at approximately 6 p.m., getting the crowd warmed up for The Killers, who will take the stage at approximately 7:45 p.m.

The Concert in the Coliseum is a 21-and-over event.  The concert will once again take place on a massive stage that will be built in the middle of the 16th hole strictly for this special Saturday night show. Venue gates will open at 3:30 p.m.

Hubbard is one of country music’s most dynamic voices. A chart-topping singer-songwriter whose career has spanned from multi-platinum duo stardom to solo headliner status. He first broke out as one half of Florida Georgia Line, now as a solo artist, he has amassed more than 2.1 billion streams to date and countless awards while selling out arenas and festivals around the world.

Hubbard’s Gold-certified debut solo album, aptly titled Tyler Hubbard, was released in January 2023 and features his debut single “5 Foot 9,” which hit No. 1 at Country Radio, is certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA and has more than 781M global streams. The album also features his second No. 1 single, “Dancin’ In The Country,” which has amassed more than 699.4M global streams and has been certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA.

Hubbard has made several television appearances as a solo artist, including Good Morning America, The Kelly Clarkson Show and Fox & Friends, and also on the CMT Music Awards, ACM Honors, NBC’s TODAY Show and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

His follow-up singles, including “Back Then Right Now” and “Park,” both reached No. 1 on country radio, making Hubbard the only country artist to launch two separate careers with four consecutive chart-toppers, marking 23 total No. 1 songs in his career. “Park” is featured on his latest album, Strong.

This is the fifth year The Thunderbirds have hosted this unique concert inside one of sport’s most recognized venues. Last year featured music’s powerhouse couple, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani graced the stage. In 2024, global phenom Post Malone joined rising country artist Ernest. The 2023 lineup included Maroon 5 and Walker Hayes, while the inaugural Concert in the Coliseum in 2022 was headlined by Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion.
