Competition was tight during round one, but after the dust settled, Bill Haas found himself in the driver’s seat after firing a 7-under-par 64 that included a sizzling start with birdies on five of his first seven holes. Five players sit two shots off the lead at 5-under including Billy Horschel, Bryson DeChambeau, Chesson Hadley, Chris Kirk and two-time runner-up Rickie Fowler.
