CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY FOR 2027 WM PHOENIX OPEN

Construction is officially underway at TPC Scottsdale as preparations begin for the 2027 WM Phoenix Open, with crews already at work building the massive tournament footprint that will welcome fans back to “The People’s Open” in February.

Work began Sept. 9 at The Cove along the 17th hole, followed by the start of construction at the iconic 16th hole on Sept. 14. With tournament week still more than four months away, structures are beginning to take shape across the course as another WM Phoenix Open starts rising from the desert.

This year’s build also includes several additions and improvements to the fan experience. Patriots Outpost, the complimentary hospitality venue overlooking the 18th hole for active-duty, reserve and retired U.S. military members, will double in size with a new two-story structure. Near the 16th hole, a redesigned 16th Hole Plaza will transform the area near the 15th green with paving, new trees, concessions, fan activations and additional space for fans to gather throughout the day.
