Thunderbirds Charities, the charitable giving arm of The Thunderbirds – hosts of the Waste Management Phoenix Open – awarded $3.85 million in grants to 65 Valley charities during its Spring 2019 funding cycle.

Over the weekend, Special Olympics Arizona hosted the annual Arizona Special Olympics Summer Games in which athletes from around the state competed in Track and Field, Volleyball and Power Lifting.
