TUESDAY AT THE 2025 WM PHOENIX OPEN
Tuesday at the 2025 WM Phoenix Open was a dream come true for more than 500 elementary school students, who swapped their classrooms for an unforgettable day at the R.S. Hoyt Jr. Family Foundation Dream Day, benefiting The First Tee of Phoenix. Held at the TPC Scottsdale Champions Course practice range, these young golfers had the chance to hit shots, learn the game, and interact with some of Arizona’s most beloved athletes, entertainers, and community leaders.
Local team mascots brought the energy, firing up the kids with high-fives, hugs, and an impromptu dance battle before making way for the day’s featured guests. Arizona Diamondbacks pitchers Corbin Burnes, Zac Gallen, and Merrill Kelly, alongside Cardinals legend Larry Fitzgerald and local NFL standout Christian Kirk, took center stage, answering questions and sharing insights on what it takes to compete at the highest level.
The fun didn’t stop there. Arizona native and PGA TOUR pro Chez Reavie put on a show, launching drives downrange, while trick-shot artist Dan Boever dazzled the crowd with an impressive PING-sponsored performance featuring mind-bending golf shots that had everyone in awe.
Tuesday’s action continued with the San Tan Ford Special Olympics Putting Challenge, where PGA TOUR pros, Arizona icons, and community leaders joined forces with Special Olympics athletes in a 9-hole putting contest filled with excitement, camaraderie, and plenty of smiles.
And to make the day even sweeter, all fans in attendance enjoyed free admission, courtesy of Ford Free Days and Arizona Ford Dealers.
