Thunderbird Charity Spotlight – Tumbleweed, A Service of UMOM

Thunderbirds Charities recently donated funds from the spring funding cycle to UMOM and Tumbleweed to help them serve Arizona’s homeless communities. UMOM and Tumbleweed, with the help of Thunderbirds Charities, serve 10,000 individuals per year by giving some of the area’s most vulnerable people the tools and guidance to move into permanent housing.

“Seeing the impact that we have at Tumbleweed and what it means to the youth in danger, it motivates me and the rest of The Thunderbirds to make a difference,” said David Baum, Thunderbird. “We make every effort we can to make sure we have the ability to continue to support this group as much as we have in the past.”

The most recent donation from Thunderbirds Charities will focus on serving the homeless youth in our communities and provide safety and survival assistance to thousands of young adults during crises.
