Each year brings new excitement to the Waste Management Phoenix Open, but with last year’s event limited by the coronavirus pandemic, the enthusiasm and anticipation for the 2022 edition of “The People’s Open” is at an all-time high.

Leading the charge for The Thunderbirds this year is Michael Golding, an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, husband, father of two, and now the Tournament Chairman for the 2022 Waste Management Phoenix Open.

“The success of this event is a testament to the support we get from our communities,” Golding said. “And the support we get from the PGA TOUR and Waste Management – one of the greatest title sponsors in all of sports – makes us extremely proud. We want to Get Back to Giving Back. Our number-one goal is giving to charity and raising money for charity.”
