Also, back again for a third straight year and performing nightly will be the world’s No. 1 Video DJ – Roonie G. Roonie G. is best known for his unique creative blends of audio and visual content encompassing popular music videos, iconic film footage, custom graphics and comedy shorts, delivering multi-sensory stimulation.

Birds Nest tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster (800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com, and all Ticketmaster outlet locations).  General admission for Saturday is $30 in advance, $35 day of. VIP tickets are also available for $150, which provides exclusive access to the Absolut Vodka VIP area.  VIP guests are treated to a complimentary catered dinner provided by Tom’s Tavern, complimentary drinks and access to a premium viewing area for the show.

The Coors Light Birds Nest is located directly across from the main Waste Management Phoenix Open tournament entrance at 82nd Street and Bell Road.  The entertainment venue opens at 3:30 p.m. and closes at 10 p.m. Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4. Headline acts will take the main stage each evening at approximately 8 p.m. The Coors Light Birds Nest is a 21-and-over venue.

The 2012 Waste Management Phoenix Open will be played January 30 – February 5, 2012 at the TPC Scottsdale. The tournament host, The Thunderbirds, have raised more than $75 million for charities, with more than $48 million generated in the last decade. Formed in 1995 in San Diego, CA’s Ocean Beach by childhood friends Miles Doughty (guitar, bass, vocals) and Kyle McDonald (guitar, bass, vocals), Slightly Stoopid has become one of the most influential and progressive improvisational musical outfits on the tour circuit. Featuring a style that’s been described as a fusion of acoustic rock and blues with reggae, hip-hop and punk, the band is no stranger to the road, performing nearly 200 shows every year, packing the most prestigious venues around the world and creating a legion of “stoopidheads” in the process.

Previously announced, also appearing at the Birds Nest will be Grammy-award winning artists the Goo Goo Dolls (Thursday, Feb. 2) and Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, who will be performing a special DJ set (Friday, Feb. 3). Opening both nights will be national recording artist Kelley James, and performing all four nights (Feb. 1 – 4) will be the world’s No. 1 rated Video DJ – Roonie G.
