Bo Van Pelt Sets New Course Record During Annexus Pro-Am

Twenty-six groups of amateurs and a host of celebrities including Olympian Michael Phelps, Country Superstar Dierks Bentley, former ABA and NBA star Julius Erving, Super Bowl XX champion Jim McMahon, 13-time MLB all-star Ken Griffey Jr., two-time Daytona 500 Champion Michael Waltrip, Diamondbacks’ pitcher Ian Kennedy and second basemen Aaron Hill competed in the Annexus Pro-Am today under bright sunny skies with temperatures in the 60’s. The team of George Getz, Walt Brown Jr., Alex Clark and Gary Brown, and PGA TOUR pro Bo Van Pelt set the course on fire shooting a 53 and taking first place honors. Not only was the team score low, Van Pelt set a new TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course record with a 12-under 59.
